Whether you enjoy having a fresh Christmas wreath, an artificial wreath, or even a wreath that you crafted yourself it is sure to bring Christmas cheer to your home. Who knows, once you have the perfect Christmas wreath, you may even want to leave it up all year round. Fresh Christmas Wreaths There is a great deal to be said about having a fresh Christmas wreath up in your home. Everyone loves that amazing fresh pine scent, and even if you do not want to go to the trouble of having a real Christmas tree, you can at least enjoy the superb Christmas smells by having fresh Christmas wreaths hanging throughout your home. Not only can you make use of these beautiful wreaths in your home, but you may want to take them to work with you as well to spread the Christmas cheer and the Christmas smell. Fresh Christmas wreaths are incredibly simple to decorate, and there are a variety of different ways to go. You may even want to just leave it totally undecorated for a very simplistic touch. At times, simple can be very beautiful, so maybe just adding a sweet bow to the wreath can make it glow with Christmas cheer. If you want something a bit fancier, then you may want to decorate it with more bows and beads, or even with candy canes, holly berries, cranberries, or small Christmas figurines. You may even want to put some lights on your wreath so it will be able to light up your front door at night as well. The lights also warm up and boost the smell of pine throughout your home, which many people enjoy. Crafty Christmas Wreaths Not only can you obtain lovely Christmas wreaths, but if you enjoy various crafts, you may actually want to make your wreath this Christmas. While you can buy your own materials to make fresh, artificial, or other types of Christmas wreaths, there are many other choices as well. If you want a beautiful white wreath, you can take a wire hanger, bend it into a circle, and then tie hundreds of small sandwich bags to the hanger to make a gorgeous wreath. Then when you have the fullness that you want you can go on to add decorations to the wreath to make it look even cheerier as well. You may also want to use grapevines that you find in the forest to create a wreath as well. There are literally tons of different things that you can do to enhance your wreath uniquely as well. Some Christmas Wreath History The word "wreath" most often brings to mind thoughts of Christmas. However, its roots can be traced back to the ancient Persian Empire. This is where they were originally used as a sign of importance and victory. When it first began, the circlet was called a diadem. It was made of fabric and worn as a headband, which were at times adorned with jewels. No matter what kind of Christmas wreaths you prefer, no doubt your wreath will add a great deal of happiness to your home this Christmas season. About the Author: |
